The Power of Partnering with CIMBA
We strive to provide value in Northern Italy and around the world by fostering close partnerships with companies and recruiters who want to tap into the talent of our students and faculty. CIMBA has a long history of developing study abroad, MBA, and executive students who emerge with a unique understanding of the global business market and with a strong core of real-world leadership skills and experience. That’s why many companies and organizations regularly connect with CIMBA.
Engage our MBA Teams for Consulting or Process Improvement Projects
Our MBA consulting and process improvement teams have made a difference for dozens of corporations, including Electrolux Group, SKF, Lotto spl, Scarpa, and Replay. These teams, under the direct supervision of our professors and leadership development coaches, have completed more than 50 projects on three continents. Each team has three to five students who come to the project with two to seven years of work/consulting experience and a mix of international experience and multidisciplinary backgrounds. All of them have completed our core MBA curriculum, including leadership behavior, Kepner Tregoe’s problem solving and decision making and project management training.
Our Consulting Project Teams have worked with privately held firms, non-profits, government agencies, and entrepreneurs. Depending on the scope of the project, they typically work for about seven months (November to May) and spend approximately 1,500 to 1,700 hours. Our Process Improvement (Six Sigma) project teams work under the supervision of a CIMBA Six Sigma Black Belt to identify an inefficient or underperforming process within a client company. Previous Six Sigma projects have addressed timeliness, efficiency, quality, and cycle time issues while providing clients with significant business process improvements and an average annual savings of €25,000 (more than $35,000). MBA Six Sigma project teams usually work roughly 300 to 600 hours from January to May to complete a project.
