Full-time MBA Program Costs and Payment Information

Full-time program costs are described below. Discretionary expenses may vary according to students’ personal interests.

Required tuition and fees for the Full-time MBA program
Tuition (Fall, spring, summer) $24,675 (The $5,000 Consulting Project Scholarship has already been applied to this amount.) All full-time MBA students who complete the self-development or consulting project are automatically awarded a Consulting Project Scholarship of $5,000. This scholarship must be repaid if the project is not completed.
Mandatory CISI insurance $350 (due with deposit) For non-Italian citizens, the University of Iowa requires you to purchase CISI coverage, which provides health insurance, emergency evacuation, and repatriation. CISI only covers you during your time abroad and does not cover you in the U.S.
Italian Residency Permit fee 200 euros Once you arrive in Italy, all non-EU citizens who hold a student visa for Italy must apply for a permit of stay for study purposes. CIMBA will help you with the application process for this.
University of Iowa summer program fee $500 This covers the programming while you are in Iowa City, which includes the graduation banquet and ceremony, company tours, and simulation fee.
Summer in Iowa City health insurance $270 Non-U.S. citizens are required to have health insurance during the summer session in Iowa City. For U.S. citizens, this insurance is optional.
Textbooks and course materials $2,500  
Fitbit and tablet/smart phone $360 You will need a tablet or smart phone for your Leadership Institute activities. More specific information will be provided post-acceptance.

Tuition payment is due to CIMBA and may be made by check or wire transfer. The first payment due is a deposit of $500 to reserve your spot in the program. The CISI insurance payment of $350 is also due at this time for all non-Italian citizens. The remaining tuition is broken into three installments, which are paid at the beginning of the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Payments should be made to the CIMBA campus in Paderno del Grappa. With advance notice, payments may be sent to the CIMBA office at the University of Iowa. Additional details regarding your payment amounts and due dates will be provided once you arrive on campus.

Loans and scholarships are available to assist with funding.
