To apply for either the Summer or Semester Undergraduate Study Abroad programs, please complete the following  application form. You should only use this application if you are a University of Iowa undergraduate student. If you are a graduate student or if you do not attend the University of Iowa, please select the correct application process from this list. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the program is full. Space is limited, so apply early.

  • References assist CIMBA in determining your ability to succeed in the program and are contacted at our discretion. The person listed as a reference must be acquainted with your academic achievements and be able to assess your potential for success in a study abroad program. Someone listed as a reference should know you in your university environment (not a high school teacher) and should be academic in nature (professor, instructor, teaching assistant, advisor, etc.)
  • Note: If your GPA is under 2.75 you will need your recommender to submit a letter of recommendation in order to be considered for admission.
