Brian Smith earned his Ph.D. From the University of Maryland in 2009, and is an Assistant Professor in Communication Management and Social Media at Purdue University. He has taught Business Communication and Social Media Management at CIMBA. “From the moment we got to CIMBA, our family was welcomed: Our children got to be involved in some of the events, and we got to know students on a personal level. We also enjoyed the local community, where we got to teach English at the elementary school and even learn the art of Olive Oil tasting! Of course, we enjoyed the ease of visiting the sites in Italy and Europe, too. CIMBA’s rich cultural environment was especially valuable in teaching communication and social media—we worked with local companies to learn through practice how to create engaging social media content.”
