CIMBA is one of the best, if not the best study abroad programs for undergraduate and graduate business students at WMU. The AASCB accreditation has allowed all of our departments to approve direct equivalencies for the BBA core and many of the major courses. At the graduate level, courses are used as electives in the MBA and Master of Accountancy programs. Undergraduate students love the fact that they can spend an entire semester abroad and not miss a beat. Graduate students can get two electives done during four weeks in the summer!

CIMBA is a perfect fit for our juniors and seniors. 7 out of our 11 BBA requirements can be met at CIMBA, as well as several major and general education courses. As the MBA advisor I communicate with students on a regular basis and for them CIMBA is the best program choice for course transferability.

The CIMBA staff in Iowa is wonderful to work with. Every question or concern, from the application procedure to current CIMBA participants gets prompt attention. They are also terrific about providing resources to assist with program outreach. The communication between WMU and the CIMBA staff in Italy and Iowa is awesome!
