Explore Europe Beyond the Classroom

The “short and sweet” four-week summer session is a great way to dip your toes in international waters! Students pick two courses for the summer program - from a mix of business, engineering, and elective options, all accredited by the University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business.

Outside of the classroom, you’ll be immersed in the daily life of an Italian village. You’ll also have ample opportunity to travel and experience Italian culture through CIMBA Italy’s daily excursions, which are available to all students. CIMBA Italy’s summer program provides eight days of independent travel to explore Italy and the rest of Europe.

This program is ideal for first-time travelers, as CIMBA Italy organizes local trips and activities as part of the summer program schedule. Students will get to experiment with their planning skills for the travel weekends and will also have the opportunity to arrive in Italy earlier and stay after the program ends.
