Milan
Calling all my ladies and gents who love fashion and gorgeous architecture, Milan is the place to go!
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
· This is the 19th-century fashion mall in Milan. It is right by the Duomo in the very center of the city, so I promise you will not miss it! My friends and I walked around the city square, past the Duomo and the Galleria at night after we arrived and found our Airbnb. In my opinion that is the best time to go see them. During the day, everything is always so crowded. However, at night the streets are so much less crowded, making for some of the best photos of the biggest sights in Milan.
· P.S. Shopping in Milan, no matter where you go, (EX: H&M or Zara), all the shopping is very business casual clothing, not so much streetwear compared to some other cities in Italy.
The Duomo in Milan
· I loved visiting the Duomo in Milan. But I wish we bought our tickets ahead of time because they will sell out. I would suggest buying your tickets from the main website: https://www.duomomilano.it
· If you buy your tickets ahead of time, to see every part of the cathedral, the rooftop, below the cathedral, and the museum –it is only 30 euros a person!
The Starbucks Reserve Roastery
· For my Starbucks lovers! Of the 6 Starbucks Reserves in the world, one is here in Milan! And the good news, they have Iced Coffee! Not to mention that every coffee and piece of food that I had, it all tasted amazing.
For my girlies, Nail Salons!
· Unfortunately, here in Italy, Acrylic and Dip polish are not a thing. But as a girl who gets full sets of Acrylics in the States, there is a great alternative that is cheaper here in Italy and it is called Reconstruction Gel!
· A nail salon in Milan I recommend is called Nail Care. The address is Via Dogana, 1, 20123 Milano MI. This nail salon is located right by the Duomo. My roommate got her nails done here and it was the best manicure. It can range around 50 to 65 euros. It depends on if you are doing a fill, or a full set! They do both! And again, it is super strong just like acrylic in the States!
