Now that things are finishing up, I am left with some final thoughts about CIMBA. With everything comes its positives and negatives. However, what good does it do to focus on the negatives? So instead, I will focus on the positives.

First, the office staff. They are extraordinarily helpful, and you can tell they genuinely want what is best for you. In fact, countless times I have been checked on, asked how I am doing, and greeted with an overall positivity that makes me happy to be a CIMBA student. I really have not noticed how much the staff works until the program is now coming to a close. They work tireless hours to ensure the safety of their students, not taking any chances. Overall, not a single student here is unsatisfied with how the staff has treated them.

Second, is the food. While it took a little bit of getting used too at first, over time everyone has really started to enjoy the pasta with red sauce. The dining staff are excellent and always quick to give a hearty smile. As well, there is a lot of variety within the types of food we get, and one can tell that it is authentic Italian.

Thirdly, I would highly recommend taking the CIMBA leap program. Though there were tiring hours of content that didn’t necessarily feel worthwhile in the beginning, it has all culminated and paid off here at the end. We just finished learning how to influence people for any number of reasons and it has been interesting to learn of the techniques that go into such an action. I never would have expected some of the methods used to get something done in a social context.

Overall, I will be sad to leave this program and can only wish that the stay would be a little bit longer than it currently is.

Thanks again,

Logan Carne
