My very first travel weekend was to Florence, and I have to say I recommend it! Florence is known for their leather market, amazing food, and amazing views.

Let's start with the best way to get to Florence!

·        Trains!!! Train hopping was definitely an interesting experience. I would recommend using the app Trenitalia. On the app, your trains will live track what stop you are on and the stop you are approaching. If you have electronic train tickets, you do not need to get them validated! However, always double-check your trips on the app to ensure you do not need to print your tickets off before leaving campus!

View on Art is 6 stories up on the roof of a hotel in the inner city of Venice. The views are absolutely beautiful, but I do have to say I recommend either

A. Going earlier in the day or

B. Making reservations!!

All ’Antico Vinaio is a famous sandwich place, and it was absolutely amazing. It hit the spot if you will.

·        I do have to say though the line is generally always pretty long so don't go if you are aiming to eat quickly!!

The sights here in Florence!

·        There is such beautiful architecture, and every building has its own beautiful flare! From the churches to the river in Florence and the statues and fountains, they are all absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail that the builders and artists had is captivating.

·        The statue of David is located here in Florence but here are some tips: Your knees and shoulders and mid drifts must be covered and don't forget to buy your tickets ahead of time!!

The main leather market here in Florence is gorgeous. I would bring enough euros to buy everything in cash, it will be cheaper! I would suggest around 100 euros.

·        That would include a purse, decorative straps, a wallet, and a little bit of money left over!!

I hope if you travel to Florence, you have the best time, and this makes it just a touch easier!!! <3
