Packing helpers

Since I leave in just a few days, I started going through my suitcase full of stuff I brought back from college with me. As I walked into my living room, I found one of my cats, Tiger, happily laying on my dresses that I had put over the back of the chair so I wouldn’t forget them. After getting him off the dresses and using a lint roller to get all his hair off the black dress, I went back to start organizing all the stuff in my suitcase. As I rounded the corner, I found not only Tiger, but Princess as well, laying on my suitcases.
Since I quickly learned they were not interested in moving at all, I moved on to going through all my papers and making sure I had everything printed off that I need like my itinerary, insurance card, and other documents. Tiger, yet again, decided to be extremely helpful in this aspect as well.
After getting everything printed off and in my folder, I started on my large pile of laundry that had added up since I had come home. My extremely helpful cats were back in action. As soon as I pulled the first load out of the dryer and went to move the second from the washer to the dryer, Princess had made herself at home in my warm basket of laundry and was purring happily.
As much as I’ll miss them while I’m gone, yesterday was just a prime example of exactly how “helpful” my two cats can be. Today, I’ll hopefully be able to actually go through my suitcase and pack everything up since I leave in less than 48 hours! I can’t wait for my Italian adventure to start and I look forward to being able to share my experiences with you!
Arrivederci!
