First few days at CIMBA!

After about 14 hours of travelling, and a couple airplane meals, we finally made it! I am very glad I will not have to do that again for another three months. I love everything about Italy and this place so far! The CIMBA campus is very beautiful.  The next few days are going to be very busy as we have orientations and we begin the LIFE program. Our first meal here was pasta with pesto sauce; Noodles and Company doesn’t do any justice! This morning I drank coffee out of a bowl because they only have glasses big enough for espresso shots. I have already noticed a lot of things that are different in Italy, but I think they will be easy adjustments to make.

We walked around campus today and took some pictures at sunset, but the photos do not do any justice. Tonight we are going to the mall, it will be interesting to see what it is like compared to American malls! We have classes this Saturday, which is a bummer, but we are planning to go to Venice after they are done! I cannot wait to begin travelling and immerse myself into the Italian culture!

So far, I have heard nothing but good things about this program and I am so excited to get started and see what is in store for the next three months! I am most excited to being the LIFE program tomorrow, which I will tell you guys more about next week once I have completed it!
