Week Ten: March 29, 2019

No new places this week! Since I got back from my travel week, I’ve been taking it slow and planning my last couple of adventures.

SLOWING DOWN

It has been fun talking to everyone about his/her travel week adventures–so many countries, so many cities. A lot of people have decided to stay back in Paderno this weekend, because they’re exhausted from spring break. It is always ok to slow it down and breathe! Down time is underrated.

FINAL PLANS

Personally, I have decided to travel during these last two weekends. This weekend, I’m going to France and Switzerland. More about that later. For the last weekend, however, I’m not sure where I’m going yet. I’m thinking either Paris, Amsterdam, or Bari, but it really just depends on plane ticket prices. I’m already thinking about when I’m going to be able to come back to Europe, and I haven’t even left yet!

It’s crazy to think that we only have two weeks left in this beautiful place. I’m feeling nostalgic, but I’m also excited to see friends and family. Bitter sweet.

MY CLASSES

I think it’s beneficial to go into depth on my classes that I’m taking here.

  1. Money and banking: An econ elective. Before coming into this class, I knew absolutely nothing about how banks work, but now I know a good bit–maybe even more than I’d like to. Just kidding! Kind of!
  2. Intro to law: Personally, I’m taking this class because I’m interested in law school. This class puts a fun spin on the seemingly boring aura of “law.” Super interactive.
  3. Intro to marketing: This class is pretty random for me, since marketing has nothing to do with either of my majors–econ and history. BUT, marketing is probably my favorite class I’m in. The whole class is based on specific marketing cases that pertain to the material from each chapter of the textbook. Makes me want to be a marketing major ~a little bit.~
  4. Italy live: Necessary! Take Italy live! Living in Italy is much less stressful when you at least know a little bit of Italian. Don’t overlook Italy live. And we go on fun, little trips. 🙂
