Don't Count the Days, Make the Days Count.

Salve!

Making every last moment count has definitely been a common theme here at CIMBA this past week. Our time is shortly coming to an end with less than two weeks left and everyone is making every moment together the best one ever, whether it be just hanging out together in the dorms or when fifty of us got on a bus and went to Bassano last Friday night. I know that I am not alone in this sentiment, but the people I have met here are some of the greatest friends that I have ever made. It’s only been three months and I know that I have formed friendships that will last a lifetime. Its going to be hard to leave and even harder to put these experiences into words. When people at home ask me how this trip is going, I just say “great.” I cannot form words that truly describe how much this semester in Italy and these people mean to me. I have been working on both the yearbook and the final slideshow for the Formal dinner next week, so I have gone through everyone’s photos. Looking at all them reminded me of all the good times that we have had and its crazy that it has only three months. Blows my mind. I’m going to do something a little different today. To celebrate all the good times, here are some of my favorite moments of the semester:

LIFE was an experience that I will never forget.
Our First Weekend Away in Florence
Lovin the Beach in Nice.
Canyoning was one of the most intense experiences ever!
Getting fancy at the First Formal Dinner
USA vs. Italia Soccer Game
CIMBA in Paris
I just love this picture so much!
Second Formal Dinner… so excited for the next one. 🙂
Making Our Last Moments Count in Bassano

This semester has been such a surreal experience and this is only a teeny tiny sample of all the amazing things I have done and people I have met. Even though we only have two weeks left, I know that there is still so much more to come and I can’t wait to see what is in store. I do know one thing: we are going to make every last moment amazing!
