Week Eight: March 15, 2019

This week, I want to discuss some of the optional food-related programs offered by CIMBA. Also, take two of traveling alone this past weekend!

FOOD

Pasta making! for 15 euro, you can learn how pasta is made, eat two homemade pasta dishes, and eat a dessert! I highly recommend this!

I learned that making noodles is very difficult

Pizza making! for 10 euro, you can travel to Asolo, learn about the pizza making process, and make your own pizza with as many toppings as you want!

please do not judge me for my choice of vegetable related toppings

Gourmet dinner! we have three gourmet dinners throughout the program, and the two I’ve been to so far have been amazing!

ROMA

This past weekend, I decided to travel to Rome by myself! I walked thirteen miles in one day and saw almost everything I wanted to see. I’ve often heard that Rome is an “overrated” city, but I disagree-it was one of my favorite places that I’ve been.

TIPS!

  1. Buy tickets for the Vatican/Colosseum in advance online. It’ll make your life much easier.
  2. Rome is very easy to get around, so save some taxi money and use your legs!
  3. Any pasta you order at any restaurant will be good. That is a fact.

Until next week!
