Join us in Iowa City to Celebrate Your Student’s Graduation!

At the end the four-week capstone course in Iowa City, CIMBA MBA students graduate from the University of Iowa. We encourage family and friends of our students to attend our commencement events and celebrate the tremendous accomplishment of these students!

The graduation weekend will consist of two events in downtown Iowa City. First, we host a banquet on Friday evening in our graduates’ honor during which student representatives speak to their peers and highlight their experience during their time with CIMBA. In addition, we present several awards, including Faculty of the Year and Student of the Year.

Secondly, at the graduation ceremony on Saturday morning, the students hear from the Senior Administration of the Tippie College of Business and CIMBA before the conferral of their degrees from the University of Iowa. We have a photographer at the event, who makes the ceremony and formal portrait images available online for downloading. A light reception follows for students and guests.

There are many lodging options in the area including the Graduate Hotel, Iowa House, Comfort Inn, Hampton Inn, Marriot Hotel, etc. The closest airport to Iowa City is the Eastern Iowa Airport (CID).
