The Executive Certificate in Leadership is designed to assist managers in developing the leadership skills necessary for success in today’s challenging global business environment. As a manager, your success is measured not simply by your individual contribution, but by how well you get the work done with and through others. Leadership development at CIMBA is far more than a mere course on leadership It expressly recognizes that leadership behavior can only be meaningfully developed through practice, experimentation, and feedback in an environment supported by executive coaches working with you one-on-one. At CIMBA, leadership development coaches are all trained, experienced, and follow the International Coaching Federation (ICF) code of ethics in performing their coaching responsibilities.
The Executive Certificate in Leadership begins with LIFE, an intensive, highly-interactive, experiential workshop that assists you in identifying your leadership key capability strengths and areas for improvement. Through a series of interactive processes over a two and a half day period, you are encouraged to build upon your strengths and to identify and eliminate barriers to your personal effectiveness. LIFE is unique for each participant because leadership strengths and weaknesses differ from person to person. By both experiencing leadership and supporting and observing others in their individual development journeys, LIFE allows you to develop important measures of your fundamental leadership key capabilities. Those measures provide you and your leadership development coach with benchmarks for your personal leadership development.
Following LIFE, you will have enhanced coaching sessions to help you grow beyond the foundation provided by LIFE in order to build personal and group leadership strengths. Upon successful completion of this program you will receive a certificate honoring your accomplishments.
