Special Information and Procedures for Your University

CIMBA partners with a consortium of more than 36 of some of the top universities in the United States. This consortium is led by the University of Iowa (UI). The CIMBA team at the University of Iowa will coordinate much of your CIMBA experience, including pre-departure, insurance, and providing a transcript for your classes abroad.

Many universities in our consortium have specific procedures regarding the application, admission, billing, financial aid, and the pre-departure process. Please note: it is very important that you work with your home university and CIMBA to confirm that you are following the correct procedures. This will help you ensure your credits are transferred successfully and that your home university knows of your status for the summer or semester you are at CIMBA. Don’t see your university below? That does not mean your university does not have specific procedures for attending CIMBA. We recommend that you check with your home university to ensure that you are following their requirements.
