From Furman University to CIMBA to PR Internship

Carly Grieff is one of hundreds of students each year who pursue study abroad at CIMBA. She attended CIMBA in 2012, coming to Italy from Furman University in South Carolina where she pursued a bachelor of arts in communications studies. In June 2014, Grieff became a public relations intern at SMLGROUP in Waltham, MA. While she was at CIMBA she was a blog ambassador. One of her favorite moments? “Event with a Professor Night,” where we can all spend an evening with a professor making pasta at a local restaurant or go to a cheese tasting at their apartments. I had the pleasure to attend a vino e formaggio, or wine and cheese tasting at Professor Morgan’s apartment. She had a man from the town of Paderno del Grappa named Matteo, come and teach us about all the various cheeses and wines from Italy.”
